Happy Halloween 2010 Seniors

Happy Halloween!!!! Can you believe that it is already November???!!!!! At least we get an extra hour to sleep in with. LOL!

Well, if I am posting then we are showing off some of our awesome seniors. We always get complimented on John's work, but here lately I have been hearing that there are some really beautiful seniors that we photograph, but that must be because all the beautiful ones come to Ridgeway. I just kind of chuckle because what am I suppose to say? We do have good looking seniors, but John's talent is knowing how to make each and every person look their very best when they are in front of his camera. The man is talented and I know that I am bias because I am his wife, but he does know what he is doing. What many photographers don't know is how to light someone properly, not only flatters them, but it gives the portrait dimension and depth. It looks like you can just reach in and touch the subject. Ok, so much for that; let's get on with our featured 2010 Seniors.

We are featuring Meghan Kunz and Jordan Fosburgh of Collinsville, Meghan Shewmake of Alton, Deserae Miller of Mascoutah, Bianca Santos of Loveless Academic Magnet Program High School and Melissa Kruckeburg of Edwardsville.

2010 Senior Guy Portraits

It's rare that guys get featured for Senior advertising, but Ridgeway Portrait Design photographs quite a few guys and we wanted to showcase four of our seniors that have been photographed in the last few weeks.

The guys that decide on Ridgeway for their senior photos do so because they can be themselves.  We won't make you look cheesy or stupid. You're almost an adult and Ridgeway treats you that way. You can bring any gear with you that helps define you. Some examples would be your car, musical instruments, hunting/fishing gear, motorcycles, skateboards and so much more. We love that kind of stuff. Bring it on and let John Ridgeway create images that are only yours and not a copy of what he did with the previous senior.

You are only a senior once in your life (hopefully :) ) and the photographs of you should look like you, take in your likes and hobbies and not have your mom ask "why did you smile like that?" Ridgeway is not the school photographer. We are never in a hurry and you the only one we concentrate on during your session. If you have a unique idea, ask us about it. We pride ourselves on giving you what you want and guarantee that you will love your senior portraits or we will redo them.

So check out some of the Ridgeway 'guy' seniors. We had fun with them and their parents and thank them for going to Ridgeway Portrait Design.

Nicole Grothaus and Katy Carrillo - Today's 2010 Seniors

Here are a couple of our cute 2010 Senior girls. Nicole is a Triad senior and while getting to know her and her dad, Tom, found out that he does concrete work. We have hired Tom to put in a concrete pad for our dumpster area and a few other projects. If you know of anyone needing concrete work we know of someone very reliable and he did a great job for us.

We also had the pleasure of photographing Katy Carrillo and she is from Metro East Lutheran High School. Katy and her mom, Susan, had a bit of a drive from St. Charles, Mo. and we want them to know that we appreciate them choosing Ridgeway Portrait Design for Katy's senior portraits.

Lots of 2010 Seniors in this Post

Wow! Can you believe it is the middle of October? It seems like we just skipped the cool, fall weather and went straight to the beginning of winter. That brings me to the point that the season for outdoor portraits is about to end however, at Ridgeway Portrait Design you really don't have to have outdoor photographs because we have one of the largest camera rooms in the area. We can create tons of looks and sets to make sure your portraits are unique and not like anyone else's. Besides, who can be just like you, anyway? :)

Below are a few more senior portraits that we want to show off. We loved working with the Green twins. Kourtney and Keri were so much fun to work with. While they look alike they are very different. Enjoyed getting to know them. We hope that you enjoy seeing the different images that we post here, but if you would like to ask us questions or make suggestions, please leave us a comment and we'll make sure we listen.
